Report Cards will be sent home at the end of the week with your child in his/her backpack.  

Here is a look as to how we will begin our second trimester of second grade:

Language Arts:

• Asking "THICK" questions
• Continue writing retells, making connections, and predictions
• Identify the different genres of books
• Revise and publish our first small moment

Math:  

• Continue adding with regrouping 3 digit numbers
• Word Problems
• Geometry
• Subtraction with regrouping

Social Studies:

• Learn about the Native Americans, Colonists, and Pioneer culture
• Create a timeline of events showing how we became America
